Pets At Home
We love a fluffy happy ending at Selesti, so we were particularly pleased to be working on this Pets At Home campaign; one of many projects we have worked on with them.
The successful nationwide retailer first opened in 1991 and has always supported many animal charities. In 2012 they decided to sharpen their focus on rehoming animals, believing that every pet has the right to a happy life. Support Adoption For Pets (SAFP) exists to help give abandoned and homeless pets a second chance of happiness. Their mission is simple; with the help of donations they will provide a financial lifeline and help secure the future of vulnerable pets in the future.
Selesti designed and developed a website that allows adoption centres around the country to register themselves, giving the centres extra exposure and the chance to be seen by visitors to the site who can locate their nearest centre via an easy-to-use directory. Most national charities have the funds to market themselves, the smaller centres often don’t. This website makes it possible for all pet rescue centres to showcase their services and raise awareness.
We produced the site from start to finish, with all creative seamlessly slotting into their new brand guidelines. Using a Google Map Mashup system with radius and keyword search facility, it pulls up the closest adoption/rescue centres within the specified area you enter.
The sign up process for the adoption centres is quick, user friendly and straightforward, enabling them to add pictures, an overview, what animals they care for and the all-important location with directions.
In order to raise the profile of the Support Adoption for Pets website, we coordinated a series of email marketing campaigns, targeting thousands of rescue centres and national charities, this included copywriting, design and distribution.
In addition to the other projects underway with Pets At Home, we also continue to work with Support Adoption for Pets to increase registrations and features the site offers.
